About
Is It Underdosed? is written and maintained by Jose Pollman. It started from a simple question: does this tub contain the amounts studies actually used? Answering it should take arithmetic, not trust.
How it's checked
Every number on a product page comes from the label (most from the NIH Dietary Supplement Label Database, the rest entered by hand with the source recorded) or from a cited reference dose. The comparison is the same arithmetic for every product, and the rules are in the methodology. When something changes, it goes in the corrections log.
What it isn't
It isn't medical advice, and it makes no health claims. It says what a label contains and what studies used. Whether a supplement is right for you is a question for your doctor.
Spotted a changed label?
Use “Report a changed label” on the product page, or the report form.
