Ingredient
L-Carnitine L-Tartrate
Research dose
3 g/day
Evidence: Weak Trials gave l-carnitine l-tartrate daily, for weeks: what counts is the amount you take in a day.
L-carnitine L-tartrate, by the weight labels print: 3 g a day is the 2 g of L-carnitine both trials gave, for 3 to 5 weeks. They measured recovery after hard training (muscle damage markers, soreness, lost strength), not performance, and one was funded by the ingredient's maker.
